This Scares Me... But I’m Doing It Anyway 😳🎥

Because if I’m asking you to face your fears—I have to do it too. Here’s what I’ve been working on.

I’ve been working on something behind the scenes that honestly terrifies me…
I’m putting the Block Out the Noise podcast on YouTube—with my face on camera.

I know that might sound simple to some people, but for me? It’s been a huge mental hurdle. I'm talking sweaty palms, overthinking every word, questioning if I’m “too much” or “not enough”—you name it.

But I made a promise to myself this year:
👉 To stop waiting until I felt comfortable.
👉 To start choosing growth over fear.
👉 To push myself out of my comfort zone—on purpose.

And if I’m asking you to be brave... if I’m telling teens and young adults they can face anxiety, self-doubt, and overthinking with courage—then I need to walk that same path.

🎤 That’s exactly what I did with this week’s podcast episode.
It’s called “21 Things I Wish I Could Tell Every Teen With Anxiety (Part 1)”
And it’s one of the most heartfelt, powerful episodes I’ve ever recorded.

I even recorded it as a full YouTube video (coming soon once I finish editing and learn the ropes). But for now—it’s available on the podcast, and I broke it down into bite-sized pieces so it’s easier to digest and actually use.

This episode walks through 6 lessons I wish every anxious teen and young adult could hear:

  • Why anxiety lies (and how to fight back)

  • The truth about starting scared

  • Why trying is winning

  • How control can secretly block your peace

  • What balance actually looks like

  • And why you’re not lazy—you’re just overwhelmed

Whether you listen on your walk, during your late-night scroll, or in that moment between homework and sleep—I hope it reminds you that you’re not alone and you are not broken.

✨ Courageous Moment Challenge:

Pick one of the six lessons and try it—not for anyone else, but for you.
Not to be perfect, not to prove anything… just to show up for yourself.
You’re worth that.

And if something in this episode hits home, share it with someone who might need to hear it too. That’s how we keep the message moving.

You’ve got what it takes.
You always have.

With you every step,
Jessica

P.S. This podcast is still in its early days, which honestly makes it even more special—because it means I can offer more personal feedback, and really get to know what you need.
