The fall slump is real, but you’re not alone
If your energy has tanked and your brain won’t stop spiraling, this is for you. These tools might be exactly what you need right now.

This time of year hits differently.
You start out feeling excited.
Fresh planner. New classes. Maybe even a few goals you swore you'd stick to.
But then something shifts.
Your energy crashes.
Your motivation disappears.
You feel like you're behind before you've even started.
When you mix school pressure with colder weather and untreated anxiety, it can start to feel like something heavier.
That's what this week's episode is all about.
Because I’ve seen it in my sessions, and maybe you’ve felt it too.
You’re trying your best, but it still doesn’t feel like enough.
You’re showing up, but you’re emotionally exhausted.
You want to feel like yourself again, but everything feels off.
This episode is for the days when the spiral starts before you even leave your bed.
I share three research-backed strategies to break through the fog and reset your brain’s energy, even when you don’t feel motivated.
One of the tools I walk you through is this:
🌱 Creation interrupts the spiral.
When you’re stuck in your head, overthinking everything, your brain starts to feel powerless.
Even something small—like writing a sentence, making a snack, or putting on music—reminds your brain that you still have impact.
You are not powerless. And you're not stuck, even if your thoughts tell you otherwise.

One more thing I talk about is a mindset shift that helped me and so many of my clients.
When you're already anxious or drained, walking into a classroom, group hangout, or practice can feel impossible.
But changing the story you tell yourself before you even walk in can shift everything.
If you’ve been feeling off lately, I hope this episode helps you understand why.
But more importantly, I hope it helps you move forward, even just a little.
💛 You’re not broken. You’re just overwhelmed.
And you don’t have to figure it out alone.
Talk soon,
